Scholarships

The SPFE Scholarship Trust Committee offers multiple financial support to qualified senior high school students. These scholarships are open to students whose parent or guardian – living or deceased – is or was a member of the Saint Paul Federation of Educators on or before September 1 of the current school year. These awards are presented in the spring.

The Local 28 Scholarship is available to students who are planning on entering an accredited post-secondary school, technical school, or college. Additionally, The Dollars for Scholars program offers two $1,000 scholarships to students who have at least a 2.8 GPA and are planning on entering an accredited post-secondary school or college. Students are eligible to receive either the Local #28 Scholarship or Dollars for Scholars, but not both.

Information for graduates in 2019 are available. Additional information and scholarship applications are available by contacting Julie Hawkins at (651) 222-7303 or julie@spfe28.org.
