SPFE Restorative Practices Cohort Application Now Open

During the 2020-2021 school year, the Saint Paul Federation of Educators will dynamically support educators in year long cohorts centered on restorative practices professional development. The unique focus and audience for the communities will include:

An Elementary Cohort – A restorative space centered on the unique values and needs of elementary scholars and settings

Circle Keeper Cohort – A restorative space centering the development and refinement of circle keeping practice for and with adults. Recommended for educators with previous experience in circle keeping and restorative practice training.

Cohorts by Request/Unique Design- IE. Racial Affinity Cohort, School Based Cohort, etc.

These cohorts are geared towards individuals who seek to elevate their circle practice, deepen their equity journey and aspire towards restorative practice leadership within their respective teams, buildings or towards training opportunities within SPFE’s RP Summer PD Offerings.

The cohort will digitally meet once a month for 3-5 hours of learning beginning in November. The elementary cohort will convene for 7 Saturdays, the Circle Keeper cohort for 6.

The cost of the restorative practice training series is $250. An individual school site can send up to five educators for the cost of $750.
